The ZINE Floating Worm is an artistic reflection on doing nothing and a revolt against the compulsion to perform useless activity. The floating worm becomes a figure of salvation that opens up spaces of contemplation in times of artificial activity and excessive communication. The reduction of meaningless activity favors a respectful use of existing resources, a more mindful behaviour towards our fellow human beings and causes less damage to our environment. As such, the concept of the floating worm can also have an impact on a socio-ecological level.
